AFC Bournemouth
Jermain Defoe, AFC Bournemouth – Forward
At 34 years old, Defoe is in the best form of his career. After 30 goals in his last 2 seasons at Sunderland, the English striker is now back at Bournemouth. If he gets chances in front of goal, Defoe is guaranteed to keep scoring.
Joshua King, AFC Bournemouth – Forward
King was perhaps the biggest surprise of the last Premier League season. In 2017, he scored 13 goals in 18 games. Not bad for a striker who scored 2 goals in 32 games for Blackburn back in 2013. King’s partnership with Jermain Defoe will be one to watch.
Charlie Daniels, AFC Bournemouth – Defender
Eddie Howe certainly knows how to get the best out of his players. Daniels has now had two terrific seasons in a row as Bournemouth’s left-back. He loves to dribble and he can strike the ball too. 4 goals and 3 assists are strong stats for a defender.
Ryan Fraser, AFC Bournemouth – Midfielder
If the second half of last season is anything to go by, Fraser is going to be a star. The Scottish midfielder showed off his pace and trickery in Bournemouth’s 4-3 win over Liverpool and never looked back. He finished with 3 goals and 4 assists but that’s just the start.
Arsenal
Alexis Sánchez, Arsenal – Midfielder
At times last season, Sánchez seemed to win matches on his own. He set up 10 goals for his Arsenal teammates and scored 24 of his own. Will the arrival of Alexandre Lacazette change things? The competition might make him even better.
Mesut Özil, Arsenal – Midfielder
For most players, 8 goals and 9 assists would represent a very good season. But Arsenal fans know that their talented German playmaker can do so much better. Özil finished the year strongly and should be back to his fantasy football best alongside Alexis Sánchez and Alexandre Lacazette.
Alexandre Lacazette, Arsenal – Forward
Last season, Arsenal’s new £46.5million signing scored 37 goals in 45 matches for Lyon. The Premier League may prove a tougher challenge than Ligue 1 but Lacazette looks ready. With his skill and speed, the Frenchman could be the missing piece in the Alexis Sánchez-Mesut Özil puzzle.
Olivier Giroud, Arsenal – Forward
Despite not being Arsène Wenger’s first-choice striker, Giroud still scored 12 league goals last season. The Frenchman is lethal in the air and can strike the ball beautifully too. He’s also reliable – Giroud has scored 11 or more Premiership goals in 5 consecutive seasons for The Gunners.
Petr Cech, Arsenal – Goalkeeper
David Ospina was Arsenal’s goalkeeper in the cup competitions last season but Cech was their Premier League Number One. With 12 cleansheets, he’s still up there with the best keepers in England.
Héctor Bellerín, Arsenal – Defender
Bellerín is one of the fastest players in the Premier League and a real attacking threat down Arsenal’s right side. 1 goal and 4 assists wasn’t bad last season but those stats should improve, especially if Arsène Wenger plays him at wing-back, rather than right-back.
Laurent Koscielny, Arsenal – Defender
When Koscielny plays, Arsenal usually win. The Frenchman is their rock at the back and one of the best defenders in the Premier League. When fit, Koscielny is a fantasy football points machine.
Brighton & Hove Albion
Anthony Knockaert, Brighton & Hove Albion – Midfielder
After a blistering season in the Championship, Knockaert is ready to take the Premier League by storm. The French winger has a big box of tricks and scores plenty of free-kicks. Everyone loves an entertainer.
Glenn Murray, Brighton & Hove Albion – Forward
At 33, this could be Murray’s final chance to prove himself as a Premier League striker. His Championship goalscoring record is excellent but he has never quite made it in the top division. Will this be his season to shine?
Burnley
Tom Heaton, Burnley – Goalkeeper
The 31-year-old goalkeeper’s stunning season earned him a call-up to the England squad. He kept 10 cleansheets and pulled off a string of match-winning saves. But how will Burnley’s defence fare without star centre-back Michael Keane?
Sam Vokes, Burnley – Forward
Vokes came alive at the end of last season and finished with 10 goals. The Welsh striker is always a handful but he’s now getting goals at the top level. Can he do it again this season?
Andre Gray, Burnley – Forward
Gray has been a prolific scorer in the lower leagues for years and his first season in the Premier League went pretty well. However, manager Sean Dyche will need him to build on his total of 9 goals this time around.
Chelsea
Eden Hazard, Chelsea – Midfielder
Hazard had his best-ever goalscoring season as he led Chelsea to their fifth Premier League title. He found the net 16 times and manager Antonio Conte will be hoping for more of the same this season. When he’s in that kind of form, the Belgian is world-class.
Cesc Fàbregas, Chelsea – Midfielder
Despite a difficult season, Fàbregas still finished with 5 goals and 11 assists. When it comes to the killer pass, the Spaniard is the best in the business. Antonio Conte has promised Cesc more game time next season, so watch this space.
Thibaut Courtois, Chelsea – Goalkeeper
Protected by a back three plus N’Golo Kanté, Courtois didn’t always have a lot do in the Chelsea goal last season. However, when called into action, the big Belgian stopper produced some great saves. With 16 cleansheets, Courtois finished top of the Premier League keeper table.
Gary Cahill, Chelsea – Defender
Cahill was brilliant at the heart of Antonio Conte’s back three last season. He kept things tight in defence and even had time to get forward and score a career-high 6 goals. Chelsea’s backline is sure to be solid yet again this season.
Marcos Alonso, Chelsea – Defender
From left wingback, Alonso loves to get forward. The Spaniard finished with 6 goals and 3 assists last season and he should be a regular starter again this time around. Those dangerous crosses will get you goals.
César Azpilicueta, Chelsea – Defender
Signed for £7million from Marseille in 2012, Azpilicueta is one of Chelsea’s best-ever signings. He doesn’t score as many goals as Gary Cahill or David Luiz but he’s arguably the club’s best defender. Few attackers ever get the better of him.
David Luiz, Chelsea – Defender
Chelsea have so many brilliant defenders to choose from. Antonio Conte seems to have tamed some of Luiz’s more reckless tendencies. That means fewer goals but better performances, less entertainment but a lot of fantasy football points.
Pedro Rodríguez Ledesma, Chelsea – Midfielder
A lot of the Chelsea focus last season was on Eden Hazard, N’Golo Kanté and Diego Costa. But flying under the radar was Pedro, with 10 goals and 9 assists. The former Barcelona winger is a tricky customer and the perfect man for the big occasion.
Willian, Chelsea – Midfielder
Willian had to play second fiddle to Pedro for much of last season but he still scored 8 goals. The Brazilian’s long-range shooting is incredible and with Chelsea back in Europe this season, he should start more matches.
Crystal Palace
Wilfried Zaha, Crystal Palace – Midfielder
Zaha was the shining light in a difficult season for Crystal Palace. His partnership with Christian Benteke helped to keep the Eagles in the Premier League. After his disappointing spell at Manchester United, the Ivorian now looks ready to become one of the Premier League’s most exciting attackers.
Christian Benteke, Crystal Palace – Forward
Liverpool’s loss has been Crystal Palace’s gain. Benteke might not be the most mobile striker around, but he is guaranteed to get goals. He scored 15 last season thanks to great service from the likes of Wilfried Zaha and Andros Townsend.
Andros Townsend, Crystal Palace – Midfielder
Townsend is a winger who can dribble, cross and shoot. When he’s on form, he’s a fantasy football dream but consistency has always been his problem. His partnership with Christian Benteke and Wilfried Zaha is certainly one to watch out for.
Patrick van Aanholt, Crystal Palace – Defender
van Aanholt isn’t the most reliable defender around but he’s worth considering for his attacking play alone. The Dutch left-back loves to get crosses into the box and he has a long-range shot in his locker too.
Everton
Wayne Rooney, Everton – Forward
After 13 years at Manchester United, Rooney is back at Goodison Park. How will he get on? This may well be the kick that his fading career needed. At Everton, Rooney is likely to get plenty of game-time again and if so, the goals and assists will come.
Ross Barkley, Everton – Midfielder
How good is Barkley? It’s a question that people have been asking for years. The Everton playmaker can be frustrating at times but on his day, he’s one of England’s most creative players. With the influence of Rooney, Barkley should improve on last season’s 5 goals and 8 assists.
Jordan Pickford, Everton – Goalkeeper
Last season at Sunderland, Pickford made an incredible 135 saves in 29 matches. He shouldn’t be quite so busy at Everton this season and he’ll pick up more than 4 cleansheets with the likes of Ashley Williams and Michael Keane in front of him.
Leighton Baines, Everton – Defender
Baines is 32 now but he’s still one of the best crossers in the Premier League. His best fantasy football days may be behind him but the left-back remains a solid bet for a few goals and assists each season.
Michael Keane, Everton – Defender
At 24, Keane will be a great centre-back partner for Ashley Williams or Phil Jagielka at Everton. He’s good in the air and also good with the ball at his feet. He got 10 cleansheets at Burnley last season and even scored 2 goals.
Ashley Williams, Everton – Defender
Williams has been one of the most consistent centre-backs in the Premier League over the last 6 years. With the experienced Welshman playing alongside Michael Keane, Everton now have one of the best defences in the league.
Davy Klaassen, Everton – Midfielder
Signings from the Dutch league can be pretty hit and miss but Klaassen looks like a very safe bet. He’s a clever, experienced playmaker and he scored 20 goals for Ajax last season.
Sandro Ramírez, Everton – Forward
Sandro has Romelu Lukaku’s big boots to fill but the former Barcelona forward scored 14 goals in La Liga last season. He might not have Lukaku’s power but he’s a more skilful and creative attacker.
Huddersfield Town
Aaron Mooy, Huddersfield Town – Midfielder
After a brilliant season on loan from Manchester City, Mooy is now a proper Huddersfield player. The Australian is a leader at the heart of the midfield and he loves to create. He got 4 goals and 7 assists in the Championship.
Steve Mounié, Huddersfield Town – Forward
Huddersfield smashed their transfer record to sign Mounié from Montpellier. The Beninese striker is tall, strong and good in the air. He’s a hard worker but it’s his goals that he’ll be judged on.
Leicester City
Jamie Vardy, Leicester City – Forward
It’s hard to know what to expect from Vardy this season. After scoring 24 goals in 2015-16, he finished with only 13 in 2016-17. However, 8 of those goals came in the last 13 games of the season. Is the Leicester star now back to his best?
Riyad Mahrez, Leicester City – Midfielder
Like Vardy and the rest of the Leicester team, Mahrez struggled to rediscover his form in 2016-17. 6 goals and 3 assists is a very disappointing record for the 2015-16 PFA Player of the Year. However, with The Foxes on the rise again, don’t rule out a Mahrez bounce-back.
Kasper Schmeichel, Leicester City – Goalkeeper
Schmeichel has developed into a top keeper and he showed it again last season, even when Leicester slipped down the table. The Foxes should be more solid this season, so expect Schmeichel to collect more cleansheets.
Harry Maguire, Leicester City – Defender
Maguire was the stand-out man in a dodgy Hull City defence last season. His pace and energy should work perfectly with Robert Huth or Wes Morgan. Maguire will certainly pick up more points this season and he’s also got a good eye for goal.
Liverpool
Adam Lallana, Liverpool – Midfielder
Before his hamstring injury in March, Lallana was on track for his best-ever Premier League season. With his energy and creativity, he is a vital part of Liverpool’s exciting attack. His game is improving all the time, so expect more goals and more assists in 2017-18.
Roberto Firmino Barbosa de Oliveira, Liverpool – Forward
Firmino feels like a talent still waiting to explode in the Premier League. He scored 11 goals and set up 7 more last season, but he can definitely do better. If Firmino, Philippe Coutinho, Sadio Mané and Mohamed Salah are all fit and firing, Liverpool will score goals galore.
Sadio Mané, Liverpool – Forward
After a brilliant first half to the season, the Senegalese forward tired and then missed the last 8 matches due to injury. His 13 goals made him Liverpool’s joint top scorer but Mané will be looking to reach 20 this season.
Philippe Coutinho, Liverpool – Midfielder
At his best, Coutinho is the greatest player in the Premier League. Last season, the Brazilian magician finished with 13 goals and 7 assists. If he can find a little more consistency, 2017-18 could be Coutinho’s break-out year.
James Milner, Liverpool – Defender
Milner has taken over from Jamie Carragher as Liverpool’s ‘Mr Versatile’. He’s not a natural left-back but his work-rate is incredible. And as the club’s first-choice penalty taker, Milner is a strong fantasy football pick.
Mohamed Salah, Liverpool – Forward
Salah was a flop at Chelsea but after two great seasons at Roma, he’s now in the best form of his life. The Egyptian winger loves to dribble and he loves to score. He’ll fit right in at Liverpool.
Georginio Wijnaldum, Liverpool – Midfielder
£25million seemed a lot to pay for a relegated player, but Wijnaldum had a brilliant first season at Liverpool. Jürgen Klopp played him a slightly deeper central midfield role but he still popped up with 6 goals and 9 assists.
Joël Matip, Liverpool – Defender
Liverpool have been looking for a solid centre-back partnership for a while, and they’ve found it with Dejan Lovren and Matip. The giant Cameroonian kept 9 cleansheets in 29 matches last season and made 47 tackles.
Manchester City
Sergio Agüero, Manchester City – Forward
Kun wasn’t at best at City last season and yet he still scored 20 league goals. The Argentinian is one of the most lethal strikers around. Leave him out of your team at your peril.
Kevin De Bruyne, Manchester City – Midfielder
De Bruyne was the Premier League’s top creator last season with 18 assists. He needs to add more goals to his game but Pep Guardiola has a lot of faith in his midfield magician. 2017-18 could be the year that the Belgian really takes England by storm.
Leroy Sané, Manchester City – Midfielder
Sané’s first season in English football was solid if not spectacular. The young German scored 5 goals and grabbed 3 assists in his 25 appearances. In 2017-18, his attacking partnership with Raheem Sterling and Gabriel Jesus could make or break City’s title hopes.
Raheem Sterling, Manchester City – Midfielder
Sterling had a better second season at City, contributing 7 goals and 7 assists. Pep Guardiola seems to rate the England winger highly but he’ll be looking for better decision-making in the final third. With the arrival of Bernardo Silva from Monaco, Sterling’s starting spot is under threat.
Bernardo Silva, Manchester City – Midfielder
Silva was one of the best players in Europe last season. The Portuguese playmaker took Monaco all the way to the Champions League semi-finals. He scored 8 league goals last season but City boss Pep Guardiola will be more interested in his creative work. You should find Silva near the top of the assists chart come May 2018.
Gabriel Jesus, Manchester City – Forward
Few players have ever started their Premier League careers as well as Gabriel Jesus did. After arriving at City in January, the Brazilian got 7 goals and 4 assists in only 10 league appearances. If he can keep that up this season, Gabriel Jesus is the striker you want in your fantasy football team.
Kyle Walker, Manchester City – Defender
£50million is a lot to pay for a right-back but Pep Guardiola sees it as a key position in his team. Walker is lightning-quick and very attacking. He picked up 5 assists for Tottenham last season with his dangerous deliveries.
Yaya Touré, Manchester City – Midfielder
At the start of last season, Touré’s City career looked to be over but he bounced back brilliantly. The Ivorian midfielder is now 34 but when picked, he’s still very capable of scoring and creating goals.
Manchester United
Romelu Lukaku, Manchester United – Forward
Strikers don’t get more powerful than Lukaku, and few score as many goals. After letting him leave at Chelsea, José Mourinho has another chance to work with the big Belgian. Can he live up to his price-tag and fill Zlatan’s boots?
David de Gea, Manchester United – Goalkeeper
It always takes a special strike to get past de Gea. The Spanish stopper is the most reliable keeper in the league. José Mourinho has improved the United defence in front of him, so there should be even more cleansheets this season.
Paul Pogba, Manchester United – Midfielder
Living up to a £90million price-tag can’t be easy. Some will say that 5 goals and 4 assists is hugely disappointing for that kind of money, but Pogba isn’t your classic fantasy footballer. His points are sure to go up next season, though, especially now that he’s playing with his best mate Romelu Lukaku.
Marcus Rashford, Manchester United – Forward
After his amazing breakthrough season, 2016-17 was a disappointment for Rashford. Playing in Zlatan Ibrahimović’s shadow, he only scored 5 goals in 32 games. With Zlatan gone, Rashford should feature more often and he could be a perfect foil for new signing Romelu Lukaku.
Anthony Martial, Manchester United – Forward
Martial is another United player who struggled to fit in around Zlatan. Last season, the Frenchman showed flashes of brilliance on the wing but he looks more dangerous playing as a central striker. To win that role, however, Martial will need to do better than 4 goals and 6 assists.
Victor Lindelöf, Manchester United – Defender
José Mourinho knows a good defender when he sees one. Lindelöf cost £35million from Benfica and he’s a tough, ball-playing centre-back. United now have 5 central defenders to choose from, so Lindelöf will have to fight for his place.
Antonio Valencia, Manchester United – Defender
José Mourinho rotated his defence a lot last season but Valencia was certainly first choice at right-back. The Ecuadorian used to be a winger and uses his speed and dribbling to create lots of chances for United’s attackers.
Henrik Mkhitaryan, Manchester United – Midfielder
Mkhitaryan played his best football in the Europa League last season but he still scored 4 Premier League goals. The Armenian playmaker is still adapting to English football and his time at Borussia Dortmund shows that he can be a real goal machine.
Newcastle United
Dwight Gayle, Newcastle United – Forward
Gayle is a goalscorer, pure and simple. Even coming off the bench at Crystal Palace, he scored 25 in 74. Now playing regular first-team football at Newcastle, Gayle scored 23 goals in 34 games last season. The Premier League better watch out.
Matt Ritchie, Newcastle United – Midfielder
At Championship level, Ritchie has been brilliant, both for Bournemouth and Newcastle. Last season, the Scottish winger got 11 goals and 7 assists. But can he do it in the Premier League? That’s the big question that Ritchie needs to answer.
Southampton
Nathan Redmond, Southampton – Midfielder
Redmond was one of the stars of a fairly disappointing season for Southampton. The England winger is improving all the time and with a bit more consistency, he should get more goals (6 last season) and more assists (only 1 last season) in 2017-18.
James Ward-Prowse, Southampton – Midfielder
JWP’s rise has been slower than some of his illustrious former Saints teammates. Now 22, this feels like his time. 4 goals and 4 assists last season was decent but with set-piece skills like that, Ward-Prowse has a lot more to offer.
Ryan Bertrand, Southampton – Defender
Bertrand is a brilliant modern full-back. His defensive stats are good and his attacking runs created 4 goals for Saints last season. He also weighed in with 2 goals of his own. If he can stay fit, Bertrand is definitely worth a fantasy football spot this season.
Manolo Gabbiadini, Southampton – Forward
Was Gabbiadini a one-month wonder? After his incredible start in February, the Italian striker struggled towards the end of the season. However, he’s too good a player not to bounce back with plenty more goals for Saints.
Virgil van Dijk, Southampton – Defender
Wherever van Dijk ends up this season, he’s sure to shine. The highly-rated Dutchman is everything you’d want in a modern centre-back – tall, quick, strong and classy. Saints missed him greatly when he got injured in January.
Stoke City
Joe Allen, Stoke City – Midfielder
Allen had a good first season at Stoke after his £13million transfer from Liverpool. Playing in a more attacking, box-to-box midfield role, the Welshman scored 6 goals. New signing Darren Fletcher may give Allen even more freedom to create.
Xherdan Shaqiri, Stoke City – Midfielder
Since his move from Inter Milan, Shaqiri has only shown flashes of his brilliance. The Swiss winger has had injury problems but he has the talent to score more than 4 goals in 21 matches. If you’re looking for a gamble, try Shaqiri.
Swansea City
Gylfi Sigurdsson, Swansea City – Midfielder
Swansea have Sigurdsson to thank for their Premiership survival last season. His 9 goals and 13 assists put him right up there with the best attackers in the league. If free-kicks are your thing, Gylfi is your man.
Fernando Llorente, Swansea City – Forward
There was a simple story at Swansea last season – Gylfi Sigurdsson crossed and Llorente scored. The Spanish striker finished with 15 goals, most of them towering headers. If the delivery is good, Llorente will find the net.
Łukasz Fabiański, Swansea City – Goalkeeper
The Swans’ fragile defence kept Fabiański very busy last season. The Polish shot-stopper made 114 saves, more than any keeper other than Tom Heaton and Jordan Pickford. He also managed to keep 8 cleansheets, even as Swansea battled relegation.
Alfie Mawson, Swansea City – Defender
Mawson is a player on the rise. He was one of England’s star performers at the Under-21 European Championships this summer and he was one of Swansea’s star performers last season. The powerful centre-back improved their defence and scored 4 goals.
Tammy Abraham, Swansea City – Forward
Abraham is definitely a young striker to watch this season. He scored 23 goals on loan at Bristol City in the Championship last season and now Chelsea want to see what he can do in the Premier League.
Tottenham Hotspur
Harry Kane, Tottenham Hotspur – Forward
The reigning Premier League Golden Boot winner is getting better every year. 21 goals, then 25, then 29. Can Kane make it to 30 this season? If he can stay injury-free and Spurs keep winning, there’s no reason why not.
Christian Eriksen, Tottenham Hotspur – Midfielder
After a slow start to the season, Eriksen came alive in 2017. The Dane’s 8 goals and 15 assists made him one of the best playmakers in the Premiership. Harry Kane and Dele Alli tend to get most of the praise at Spurs, but Eriksen is a fantasy footballer’s dream.
Hugo Lloris, Tottenham Hotspur – Goalkeeper
Spurs had the best defensive record in the league last season and their French goalkeeper played a big part in that. Loris is a brilliant shot-stopper and also a great last line of defence. If you’re looking for lots of cleansheet points, look no further.
Dele Alli, Tottenham Hotspur – Midfielder
After an excellent debut Premier League season, Alli came back even stronger in 2016-17. On top of being a powerful, creative midfielder, the Spurs man has now become a genuine goalscorer. He got 18 goals last season and he’ll be looking for even more this time around.
Toby Alderweireld, Tottenham Hotspur – Defender
With Alderweireld and Jan Vertonghen at the back, Spurs only lost three league matches all season. It’s the best defensive partnership in the Premiership and Alderweireld can also score a goal or two to bring in some extra fantasy football points.
Jan Vertonghen, Tottenham Hotspur – Defender
If you can afford it, Alderweireld and Vertonghen really are the fantasy defensive pairing. The Belgians may not get you goals like other defenders but they will definitely get you lots of cleansheets.
Heung-Min Son, Tottenham Hotspur – Forward
Son played a crucial role in Spurs’ 2nd-place finish last season, especially during Harry Kane’s injury problems. The South Korean is quick, skilful and a brilliant finisher. After a disappointing first year in England, Son bounced back brilliantly with 14 league goals and 6 assists.
Danny Rose, Tottenham Hotspur – Defender
Rose missed over half of the 2016-17 Premier League season due to injuries. Spurs really missed his speedy runs from left-back. Rose is still on the road to recovery but he’ll have a big part to play this season.
Kieran Trippier, Tottenham Hotspur – Defender
Trippier’s form last season is the reason that Mauricio Pochettino let Kyle Walker join Manchester City. The Spurs right-back never stops running and his brilliant crosses are perfect for Harry Kane and Dele Alli.
Watford
Troy Deeney, Watford – Forward
Deeney’s second Premier League season wasn’t as good as his first but he still finished with 10 goals and 4 assists. He’s an experienced striker now and he’s also Watford’s main penalty-taker.
Etienne Capoue, Watford – Midfielder
At Tottenham, Capoue played as a defensive midfielder but he scored 4 goals in his first 6 games for Watford last season in a more attacking role. The Frenchman faded in the second half of the season but he’s certainly a player to consider.
Roberto Pereyra, Watford – Midfielder
Until a bad injury in December, Pereyra was having a promising first Premier League season. The former Juventus winger got 2 goals and 2 assists in 13 games and was on the verge of consistency. Watford will hope to have him back soon.
West Bromwich Albion
Matt Phillips, West Bromwich Albion – Midfielder
After difficult spells at Blackpool and QPR, Phillips really found his Premier League feet at West Brom last season with 4 goals and 8 assists. The winger’s delivery is perfect for their big strikers Salomón Rondón, Hal Robson-Kanu and Jay Rodriguez.
Gareth McAuley, West Bromwich Albion – Defender
McAuley is West Brom’s not-so-secret weapon. At 6ft 5in, the Northern Ireland defender is excellent in the air at both ends of the pitch. Last season, he finished as the club’s second top goalscorer with 6 goals.
Jay Rodriguez, West Bromwich Albion – Forward
Before his cruciate ligament injury, Rodriguez scored 15 goals for Southampton in 2013-14. His recovery has been slow but he’s the kind of natural finisher that West Brom need. With regular game-time, the striker could prove to be a great buy.
West Ham
Manuel Lanzini, West Ham – Midfielder

Before an injury in April, Antonio was having a fantastic season. With his rare mix of strength, height and skill, he scored 9 goals from the right side of West Ham’s attack. Hopefully, he’ll come back even stronger this season.
Joe Hart, West Ham – Goalkeeper
After a successful spell in Italy, Hart is back in the Premier League. The England keeper will be a great signing for West Ham, who conceded 64 goals last season. Things should improve with Hart between the posts.
Marko Arnautović, West Ham – Midfielder
Arnautović was largely frustrating during his 4 seasons at Stoke. The talented Austrian attacker has only reached double figures once in the Premier League. The potential is there but can Arnautović now fulfil it at West Ham?
